With my new job I’m in the position of thinking about how we can use our expertise in voice directed work in new markets and possibly new devices. (You might have noticed the growing number of ‘voice’ entries in my del.icio.us links…) I’m mostly a newbie at all this so I’m just sponging up information as fast as I can. One of the high-absorption times will be the SpeechTek conference in early August. (I’m not sure why someone would schedule a conference at Times Square in the middle of tourist season, but whatever.)
