More important than Mozart for kids...

Reaching Parents Early - Column referring to a book published a few years ago with at least one surprising (in importance, not in substance) conclusion:

Verbal stimulation (roughly the number of words a young child hears at home) may be the most important predictor of the child's future academic, economic and social success.

I wonder if that includes words in other languages...?
