So of the jobs listed earlier I chose Job #3, which I can now reveal is Vocollect. It was very close between Jobs #2 and #3 but what finally sealed the deal was a call from the CTO on Sunday – not just a sales pitch but someone who was genuinely interested in bringing someone good on board.
So today is my last day at Optiron and it's sad to be leaving everyone. It's not easy to find a group of people with whom you like to share space for eight hours a day and that's really what's kept me for as long as I stayed. But I have a really great feeling about this new place and hopefully it will lead to more learning and friendships.
