Good overview of mod_proxy

ApacheModProxy - It’s ostensibly about Cocoon but really just a good description of setting up and configuring mod_proxy as a lightweight front end to your heavyweight application server(s). What’s really nice is that mod_proxy doesn’t care what’s behind it – the same proxy sits in front of this site (a mod_perl application) and the as-yet unannounced OpenInteract JIRA (a servlet application running under Tomcat).
