This is one of the reasons why geeks spend so much time exploring, testing and (sometimes) creating new build tools -- it's a hard problem. Sometimes we take heat for our focus -- concentrating on infrastructure rather than end-user tools -- but that's because we know how important the infrastructure is to keeping the ecosystem alive and vibrant.
