Fundraising monster

Bush by the Numbers, as Told by a Diligent Scorekeeper
Some of the more fascinating numbers: Bush has raised $114.8 million at 48 events this year (almost $2.4 million per event), versus Clinton’s record of $105.0 million at 203 events in 2000 (a little over $0.5 million per event); Bush has spent 42 percent (250 days) of his term at Camp David, Kennebunkport or his ranch in Texas. I think I see the strategy here: by increasing the staggering amount of money raised while working less, Bush is single-handedly keeping the national worker productivity figures flying high!
